Ohio Cannabis Legal... If you can get it?

Did you vote to legalize adult use marijuana in our beautiful state of Ohio?
The pushback we expected has finally taken more definite shape.

Our elected officials want to make changes to Issue 2 before it goes into effect December 7th.

Now is a good time to tell your reps how you and your community benefit from specific parts of the policy.

Exactly how does This Ban Wagon want to change the bill?
And what parts exactly are up for tooling or elimination from our voter initiative?
And, you know, is it ... long? Like long and dry and technical?

Well, the document is about nine pages, and...

here is a 'study copy'

--- with change areas highlighted by catagory AND links to ohio code citations.

Importantly, -Here is a link- to the tracking page for the House Bill that would make changes to issue 2 on the Ohio Legislature website.

This Ohio legislature webpage is where the original .pdf for the 'study copy' came from (as accessed December 1st, 2003), and can be checked for the most recent versions to the date. For the frequent update scouts.

Important update [Dec 15th 2023] For mutual convenience, here is a list of all three legislative initiatives to change voter issue 2.

House Bill 341
(This bill proposes disregulating statewide access and removing home grow and other items)

House Bill 86
(This one is about administration codification and taxes. Worth a look.)

House Bill 354
(Under local review)

Great for reviewing the text, sharing with friends, checking on progress through the legislative process. Will any or parts of thess make the finish line?

Thanks for your patience as this section comes together.
This page is more function than form at this stage due to the time sensitive nature of this challenge we face. CSCC wants to make the vital parts of laws and guidelines as easy to take in as possible so our members, supporters, and friends can make their best informed decisions.
To disclaim, these are peer-shared study materials for convenience reflection, and not meant to convey any form of legal advice or guidance.

"What do you mean? Some elected folks want to pull home growing and state-wide access?"
"Well, then wouldn't it be good if we all signed a stern letter to hold disrespectful lawmakers accountable to the will of voters, eh"
Well, if you think so... ya could Sign the:
Petition·Recall Ohio GOP·Change.org

That one completed. Guess we either need new petitions or to write in to elected reps directly.

CSCC a Co-Op venture by and for consumers over 50

Too many folks of this demographic have been brainwashed into believing the Media hype that Cannabis is Evil.

CSCC aims to share factual, up to date, and science based information with the public, and offer education, consultation, (installation?) with the most accessible equipment to the over 50 crowd.

Educated cultivation, informed consumption, at patients’ convenience.
