Helping Seniors Grow Their Own Medicine

Just a hand full of humble people in Ohio.

We are some folks loosely around the Cincinnati area who believe in enough of the same things to work together:

People can help each other to live better, and that it starts locally, and with simple things.

Like ... Handy and accurate gardening information.... Links to legitimate local services... Social support for DIY cannabis growers and MMJ patients...!

Jimi

Jimi tells us about himself, and his complex history with The Plant:

“Like a lot of You my experience with Cannabis began in the 1970’s."

As an ADHD child , I aged off Ritalin and was left to struggle on my own."

I discovered I didn’t feel as “different” while elevated, I could blend in in social situations."

In the 80’s the US Army sent me to Europe, where I sampled some of the finest Hashish available."

Amsterdam in 1986 had some great Space Cake at the Bulldog."

While in therapy following my first divorce, we discovered I had been “self medicating” for years."

After several Pharmacological failures, I returned to self medicating and began researching this amazing plant. "

"Which led to taking control of my Medicine by growing my own. Several years of study and trial and error followed, leading us to where we are now."

"I firmly believe when I grow a plant and talk to her and tell her my ailments, she responds and we form a symbiotic relationship . It just works better.”

Zeige ... ... ... ... (from Lightbocks)

This web design was stormed, condensed, milled, and blown by ohio rural semi-organic hominid:

"I'm older than 56k but younger than Woodstock."

“Brought up on those two mile country blocks, there weren't enough people around to tell me I couldn't do stuff, so here we are."
"I grew wise to the world around small business and consumer coop's trying to hack it in a gambling-with-the-lunchmoney economy, and spent my adult life studying macroeconomics and people-prioritized business models. Much of my study was done from the confines of 'variable shifts' of half the crappy blue-collar jobs left around the Rustbelt between 1994 and 2020.”

Ziege isn't new to smoking, having a decade of chronic body pain to compare and contrast options.

“While I had already collected some diverse smoking etiquette, I’ve had to improve my skills and ratify some of that weed lore into marijuana knowledge to get some hempen reigns on this stubborn pain syndrome that I could be taking daily opiates for.
And there’s no reason for me not to grow at home, just like I’m working slowly towards growing more and more of our food at home. Oh, do not ask me about compost unless you want to hear about it for half an hour.”

“In summary, I'm here to support my neighbors helping each other grow cannabis at home as part of their advanced pantry repertoire.
Because working locally and working together to support each other's independence works for survival and quality of life for everyone involved.”

“Most of my support right now is turning notes and snap shots into a website communications materials. Jimi handles more of the general corespondence and office stuff that I'm not as good at."

CSCC a Co-Op venture by and for consumers over 50

Too many folks of this demographic have been brainwashed into believing the Media hype that Cannabis is Evil.

CSCC aims to share factual, up to date, and science based information with the public, and offer education, consultation, (installation?) with the most accessible equipment to the over 50 crowd.

Educated cultivation, informed consumption, at patients’ convenience.
